Nudo Email Marketing

The Challenge

Nudo (formerly Pouch Hammocks) is a NYC based hammock manufacturer, with a traditional production assembly based in El Salvador. Their fresh, innovative and contemporary hammocks designed with the modern, urban dweller in mind.

Wanting to find a way to relate with their subscribers, Nudo sought to engage their 15,000 email list with a “behind the scenes” view of their traditional manufacturing facility through a unique email campaign.

The Solution

Bizop, Nudo, and SSR Digital Group all came together to figure out how to incorporate all of these elements into one email campaign.

Our team tackled the issue by creating a custom email design, and managed development, implementation, and publishing. The newsletter consisted of A/B tested subject lines, engaging photography, and unique exclusive messaging to allow for better open and click-through rates.

The Result

As a result, this email marketing campaign successfully achieved a 26.6% open rate and a 9.9% click-through rate– which is 5% and 6% over the industry standard, respectively.

Readers enjoyed the personal touch of a “behind the scenes” concept– helping Nudo foster a sense of transparency with their readers.
